life in edina

It seems like our surroundings are constantly changing around here and there is always some road thats closed down due to construction. Anywhere you go in edina, you are bound to see those familiar little orange cones sticking up from the pavement like zits on a 13 yr old. The effect is about the same. Who likes staring at that obnoxious color every time they are in a traffic jam CAUSED by the construction on the roads. I honestly cant imagine why the city of Edina feels the need to do road work ALL THE TIME. So what is the ultimate goal here? Some say that the roads need constant maintenance because of Minnesota's harsh winters, but I am of the oppinion that they are simply trying to drive us insane. I don't know why, but then again I'm not the criminal matermind here. As they say, "there are two seasons in Minnesota, winter and road construction."

Bailey: I think everytime I see a road construction cone I'll now think of your analogy to them being like zits on a 13-year-old. Nice job on the posting and have fun with the blog.

Bailey~ I totally agree. There is always road constuction. I like your analogy to the zits, very cool. I also like you closing sentence about teh two seasons. GOOD JOB.

I liked your analogy's throughout your blog, it really spiced things up! But, be careul to use punctuation that matches the feeling you want the sentance to evoke. For example, "Who likes staring at that obnoxious color every time they are in a traffic jam CAUSED by the construction on the roads." could be chanded to a question mark because it sounds like a question but when I read it at first I thought, oh well, and just disreguarded the whole sentance. I liked it as a whole though, great job.
